Great album to be playing during this rainy (snowy) season. Delicious Decemberists at their best.

for some reason I got sent to npr's mobile site.. pumped to listen to this though

on first listen, this is their best album since picaresque. although, i love everything. This Is Why We Fight and Rox in a Box are both excellent tracks.

So good. I think "This Is Why We Fight" is my favorite track so far.

Early contender for my 2011 AOTY possibly? Hopefully I remember it when I'm making my list.

If you can't remember it, it probably has no business being your album of the year.

Love the Decemberists but need to spend more time with this album.

True, although I guess my point was more than it's being released so early in the year that people may not be talking about it 11 months from now.

this is the first time I liked a Decemberists record

actually loving this. I was a fan of The Crane Wife, but never listened to The Hazards of Love. Should I give that album a listen or just stick with this?

The Hazards of Love was awesome. Definitely one of those cohesive "albums".
