Head here to read Jenn Enders' response to the recent charities that have been set up in support of Ace Enders. There is also an opportunity to intern for I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business.

I think it's a good idea to pick one band to focus on for them, and I will do everything I can still to keep supporting them. Ace and his wife and baby finally deserve a financial break.

That was a well written address to Ace's fans by Jenn, and she brings up a lot of good points regarding society's treatment of its artists.

Despite the fact that musicians are finding it easier and easier to put their material out there, i would argue it's getting harder and harder to make it as an artist alone.

I don't know what sort of support artists (of all forms) receive from the government, but there should be opportunities taken at all levels of society to take the starving out of the artist.

Sent in an application, not sure how much help I can be, but it seems like a cool way to help out and get involved in the music "scene" for lack of a better term.

I want to apply for this, but I just don't see how I can balance it with my current obligations.
Looks like my Ace support will all be through MEB.

how do you intern for a band? the application process includes a statement of experience and why you'd be good for the job, yet there is no list of duties or expectations... sounds more like a street team. anyone know more about it?
