iTunes Festival 2011

The iTunes Festival is coming to the UK again this year and the first three acts have been announced as Linkin Park, Duran Duran and Rumer with nearly 60 more to come. Head here for more details and to find out how you can get your hands on the free tickets.

Awkward headliners. Never heard of Rumer but LP and Duran Duran at the same festival is pretty weird.
It's a whole night dedicated to each act and their support bands. So it's not all on one night, it's over 60 different nights, just at the same venue each time basically. There are no headliners of the whole festival, just for individual nights and these happen to be the first three announced.

The iTunes festival is awesome. Don't know why anyone would diss it. Free tickets to amazing gigs, and the beer isn't even that expensive. Sorted.

The mix is always eclectic, but to get a band like Linkin Park to headline a night is amazing. Have applied for tickets but I'm sure there'll be record amounts entering for that one.
