They are trying to be pro active to get the NCAA to take it easier on them. Probably safe to assume probation and possibly a loss of some scholarships. Also no chance the players get their suspensions reduced which has been rumored almost since that punishment came out in my opinion.

Oh man. I'm so excited to see how mediocre Auburn will be next year. Auburn travels to Clemson, South Carolina, Arkansas, LSU and Georgia. And has to host Miss State, Florida, and a super pissed Alabama team (Nick Saban is like 13-1 or something ridiculous in revenge games). Wouldn't be surprised if the Barn finishes 5-7.

Besides Cam and Fairley, didn't they lose a shit ton of experienced linemen and receivers too?

Their only saving grace is Michael Dyer returning. He can't do it all.

Yeah. I live Birmingham... these are really the only sports programs my co-workers and I are die-hard fans of. So I am very familiar with these teams and tend to be interested in what goes on with them.

Charles Robinson, one half of Yahoo's investigation team with Dan Wetzel who help break the following scandals: Reggie Bush , Kansas ticket scandal, UNC agent dealings, Oregon "recruiting service", and most recently Tressel saga, was on a radio station yesterday and said he is currently working on 2 more stories. He hopes to have one out in the next two weeks which he says is a 6 or 7 on a scale of ten, and another towards the end of summer probably August being a 10. He says the Tressel story was an 8 out of 10 for reference

The stories/sources could fall apart before the completion but with the guys track record should be interesting what they have uncovered.

They're losing so much and the media is still going to hype them up just because they won the BCS title this year. I bet Malzahn leaves the program after this season and gets his own team, although I don't know how long his contract was for.
