Go Gophers!

I'm looking for some new, possibly lesser-known bands. I feel like I haven't really found much new in the last few months and thought this would be a good place to ask.

Some of my favorites include: Jack's Mannequin, Motion City Soundtrack, Something Corporate, Manchester Orchestra, The Format, fun., Tegan and Sara, Dashboard Confessional, Hellogoodbye, etc. Mostly pop and it's sub-genres, I suppose.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

well if you're a fan of manchester orchestra then you should definitely check out Right Away, Great Captain!. How do you feel about pop-punk? if that's something you like i can recommend much more. Say Anything, i'm assuming you already have an opinion on them though. Weatherbox is something else you might like. let me know how those work out for you.

I have some RAGC; oddly enough, I don't really dig it that much (in comparison to MO, anyway). It's still good, though.

I have Is A Real Boy, it's pretty good stuff, but yeah. I guess Say Anything is one of those bands I keep around on my ipod, but they don't get much spin. However, Yellow Cat/ Red Cat and Alive With The Glory of Love are great. I also think Admit It!!! is a good one too. The rest are fine, just haven't listened more than a few times.

Haven't heard Weatherbox, but I think I'll give it a shot! Thanks!

no problem man let me know what you think. if you dig anything by SA you'll probably enjoy them. try "the drugs" or "tripping the life fantastic" if you're looking for single songs.
