Cassino started the mixing process for a 6 song EP that will feature demo and alternate unreleased versions of previously released songs. It will only be sold digitally, and should be online by May. It will feature 2 different versions of the song “Cannonball” (instrumental and demo/acoustic), a full band version of “Tin Man’s Throne”, an alternate take on “Maddie Bloom,” "Conrad" (a Jets to Brazil cover) and a Sounds of Salvation-era version of “The River”. More details forthcoming.
Any Cassino-related news is good news. But i have to agree with everyone else that i would perfer some new songs instead of the same old "re-release" of songs like they did with Kingprince (still a great album though)
happened to have both of their cds on today....but damn they take forever to make new songs. Their first came out in 07, and their 2nd album had like 3 or 4 old songs on it. Now another bunch of "remakes". I want some new shizzzzzzz
I would love for this to have more piano jams the way Broken Parachute did. Cassino and Northstar are timeless for me (so far). I can't wait to play this over and over come spring.
