Much as I think they blow, I've always liked their screamer.

I instantly lose any remaining respect for a band if they film a video for a cover song.

Just a live video is a little better, but doesn't really make sense for a song that is made using 100% electronics.

Why would a band cover a song that already sounds like something that could have been written by said band?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. These guys have one fantastic song (Diamonds) and the rest is terrible, terrible music.

Not to be a dick, but I just don't see how bands like these are capable of writing "fantastic" songs (unless you're being completely sarcastic and I'm missing it). If it's riddled with autotune and cheap synths, where is any of the true passion or emotion in the music? I get if a band may use some kind of vocoder effect cause they like the tone, but they completely drown out any sense of passion in their music. I don't think I'll ever understand this "scene".
