So glad this year saw some of the best artists win awards, Mumford and Sons winning 'Album of the Year' is excellent. Plus stoked that Laura Marling won 'British Female' if Cheryl Cole had won it would have been a terrible, terrible thing!

a) I'm still finding it ridiculous that Mumford & Sons won Album Of The Year when it came out in 2009 over here.
b) I was so so shocked when Laura Mrarling won in the best way possible. I saw the list of nominees and thought "aw yeah, awesome but Cheryl will win it no doubt". Great surprise, so happy for her.

Really surprised Pass Out won best single over You've Got The Love.

So happy Laura Marling won, hopefully she'll finally get that Mercury Award next year too, providing she gets her third album out in time.

Who the hell are The Suburbs?

This was terrible.

I had no idea Win Butler had a lisp.

Tinie Tempah is so incredibly overrated. I'm actually starting to listen to more rap (I used to listen to pretty much none), but I don't find anything he does appealing.

I definitely think Ellie Goulding, Mumford & Sons, or The xx should've won British breakthrough. You've Got The Love should've gotten best single.

Happy for Mumford & Sons for winning best album though. And I'm also happy Laura Marling won best female, even though I personally wish Ellie Goulding would've taken it. Both are fantastic though.
