Wow, you people are fucking stupid.

Rap sales are dominating.

When was the last time your favorite band sold over 500k?

Even 100k?
FOB just went platinum. So did MCR.

Those are the mainstream bands that compete against mainstream rap. Comparing bands mentioned on AP otherwise to mainstream radio rap is retarded. Look underground if you want to go apples/apples.

gym class heroes rap about things that matter?
On Papercut Chronicles they sure did. Suicide, homophobia, violence, and a ton of other comtemporary social issues.

That said, their new record is awful, disposable garbage.

Ive said a lot of 2006 releases were garbage and people have like wanted to fight me about it but everyone seems to agree with me and you on Gym Class Heroes and Cruel As School Children, horribly dissapointing.

They tried to be like Hollywood Undead because they were the "alternative rap" group tearing up the myspace charts, so GCH put up a record that mirrored those jackasses lyrics which were all about myspace, banging scene skanks and getting drunk and or high.

I want to call them sell-outs for that.
Truth.
