Why not backyard shows? Its going to be summer! There would be nothing like a band playing in my backyard with the sun setting behind us, and the smell of freshly mowed grass, and a bbq grill cooking up hamburgers and a cooler filled up with cola for after the show.

easier to control volume of the sound in a basement..Plus backyard shows you have to play the weather game. if the show gets rained out your fucked. At least with basement shows weather will not hurt it..And the only thing you really have to deal with is controlling the noise coming out of the house.
man i miss basement shows so much...all the bands around my area think playing venues is where its at. I think basement shows beat the hell out of a venue shows any day of the week

While I understand why the can't do that (pissy neighbors, weather, etc), you sir, have painted a beautiful picture.
