I've listened to Combinations many, many times and really enjoy it. I'm sure I'll like this album as well.
it just felt flat...coming off Room Noises, it wasn't as exciting...this album is just so damn full. I was fortunate enough to hear it on the band's bus on the last tour they did a few months back and was just blown away.
The sound of this record is incredible. The actual melodies didn't grab me the first time through, but all of Eisley's releases take time to sink in, so I'll certainly be returning to it.
Got this album on amazonMP3 for $5. My first one from them, the clips sound good and I know they get a lot of praise 'round these parts so I decided to check it out.
Plus, one of them's married to Max Bemis, so it must be good, right?
