They're not a rip-off. I got to speak with these guys last year, before they were even signed, and I asked them about comparisons between them and ABR. There is definitely a distinct sound between the two bands. The guys of TIJ look up to the guys of ABR, and they do want to break away from the notion that people compare these two bands.
