Songkick compiled a list of the "Hardest Working Bands of 2010." It used number of tour dates and miles traveled to determine which bands were the hardest working. Do you think that this list accurately reflects which bands are actually working the hardest? Which bands do you think deserve this distinction?
EDIT: I guess it depends on how you define "hardest working." I don't think it's very hard for Lady Gaga to go on a world tour compared to a band on a smaller label just doing a US tour.
List is complete bullshit -- not sure which criteria they use, but it seems to focus on major label and larger independent label bands. There are definitely artists that played more dates than those above.
Being a hard working band doesn't only include touring. Lots of bands worked hard in the studio making new records last year, and this list doesn't reflect that factor at all.
While there are plenty more independent artists not being represented by this, it's crazy to see such a diverse list of groups. Totally didn't expect to see Skillet on there.
