My guitar parts are totally generic. I am not a great guitarist and I have never pretended any differant. My icons are Bj Armstrong, Tom Delonge, Tom Wisinski, and Mat Skiba. None of those dudes are super original or shred real hard . I take that as a compliment to be honest. Thanks for the love.

Just a good band making good music. Pretty simple, fun, not game changing but definitely enjoyable.

not really...I guess you could call handguns a bit generic but their singer has a distinct voice and they're from around where I live so I've seen 'em twice, so I guess that's why I like them...and the fact that their music is great, the lyrics are real, and the songs are fast and catchy.

I find nothing too distinct about the singer's voice. I like generic pop-punk, so I like Handguns, but Transit is just a lot more inventive and creative which keeps me interested. Hanguns gets boring after a while. I could listen to Transit all day, but I can probably only listen to Handguns every once in a while.

are you calling what I say a countless rant? I'm just backing my opinion that you disagree with, I honestly don't understand how Transit could even be considered "pop punk", they sound nothing like Handguns, and I don't understand why someone on here even brought them up because they're irrelevant to Handguns' new CD. I hate to argue about genres and everything but I hope you or someone else can explain it to me. I guess the genre has expanded so far that bands like Transit and In Her Own Words can be considered pop punk on opposite ends of the spectrum.

You and I probably have different music tastes anyway, so like I said to another guy, I'll agree to disagree on music taste, just don't insult anyone's music taste.

I meant my rant was pointless haha. Not yours! Sorry if you felt like I was insulting you. Transit is pop-punk, they're just a different brand. Through Being Cool doesnt sound like Handguns. Cheshire Cat doesn't sound like Handguns. Such Gold doesn't sound like Handguns. All considered pop-punk. Genres are dumb, but it is what it is.
