This song sounds like a band is doing a parody of RJA. If this track is any indication of their record, especially considering they chose this as a lead single, this album will serve as the final nail in their coffin and solidifies all suspicions that their first record was simply a fluke. Not even John Feldmann could resurrect this band.
It's better than the recent stuff they've released, but that's not saying a lot. I still listen to Don't You Fake It quite a lot and absolutely love it, why can't they just go back to that sound? It was catchy, sometimes emotional, and fun. I just can't get into this.
People often slam bands like Asking Alexandria for being generic when, honestly, I would probably consider this band to be one of the most generic bands not only in "heavier" music but in rock in general. This is not abysmal but it's so ordinary sounding.
this is a little too nu-metal, but it is still a step in the right direction after their more recent stuff. clearly it's been too long since they have made decent music to think they'll ever be worth listening to. i'll always appreciate their old stuff, even if it's for some weird nostalgic purpose.
So, they're like, really hardcore now?. But on the reely reelz, I actually like this, somewhat. But the 1st album will always be my fav. Also, John feldman? Like the real John Feldman producing? I guess im gonna have to check this out
