I love this record. The only song I could do without is "Fix Me".

Can't wait to see these guys perform the new songs live. "The Anchors" is my personal favorite along with "I Never Got To See The West Coast"

I'm surprised how much I like it. But ISSWS was my favorite album. I'm also surprised how well they filled this album without Devin.

Heavy parts are so awkward and...sometimes weak imo.

The stream of Scissors I heard was EXCELLENT. The original heavy song they posted though, I wasn't a fan of. I'll listen in a few.

the albums pretty good, not amazed by it.. imo in shallow seas we sail is their best album, with that said I wasnt expecting this album to be better. 1. devin is missed (although he does appear a few times), 2. some of the screaming is not so great, 3. the flow of the album is odd, why end with 2 acoustic songs? anyways, I dont hate the album by any means, its growing on me.. really like addicted to bad decisions, deff my favorite so far; also nice to hear devin on it!! regardless, buying this album tomorrow :) excited to hear the deluxe edition bonus tracks, crumbling seems to feature a lot of devin

edit- not sure if I came off this way, but Toby does hold his own. I love his vocals, just nothing can beat the two of them together.

I completely agree, alot of the "heavy" parts make them sound like some shitty high school screamo band, they seem a little too forced. The rest of the album is pretty good though, probably skipping a purchase of this.

Are they still releasing the whole album acoustically as well?

They aren't releasing the whole album acoustically. They are release an acoustic album with all new songs. They were working on the acoustic album before this one, then Devin left, then they decided to record We Do What We Want. I Never Got To See The West Coast and Fix Me were supposed to be on it, but they felt like they fit with the overall theme of this album so they put them on it.
