Napster Dude Wants To Buy A Record Company

Posted by: Blake Solomon (03/28/11)
Sean Parker-Timberlake (Napster founder) is rumored to be in talks to buy Warner Music Group, who also happens to be Metallica's record label. Oh, the irony.

This is hilarious.

The dude gets sued into the ground, bounces back, and then buys one of the labels that sued him.

Even if Parker succeeds in buying WMG and four other parties are said to be in the race as well he might not get to be METALLICA's boss after all. The band's last effort, 2008's "Death Magnetic", was its last under its current contract, and it is not known whether the group has re-signed with the label.

so...probably not
