I'm a day late, but it was 83 degrees outside yesterday in Chicago. I was outside a lot. Can you blame me?

SONY

Sony Online Entertainment has closed three of it's studios laying off over 200 employees and FINALLY shitcanning The Agency.

Killzone 3 is getting it's first DLC map pack. It will include 2 new maps and cost you $4.99, unless you are a Playstation Plus member, then it is free.

SOCOM 4 is in open beta, but you better hurry it ends on the 13th.

EyePet and Friends is the sequel to EyePet.

Buy SOCOM 4 and get into a beta for Resistance 3.

NINTENDO

Majesco is going to try again to make an AR ghost game, this time for the 3DS.

MICROSOFT

Microsoft launched it's new Preview Program. Of note is that some people were prompted to download their dashboard update while some people will get it on the Halo Reach disc that is part of the Preview Program.

Gears of War 3 will not end on a cliffhanger, but the universe will live on.

There might be a whole bunch of exclusive stuff with the Xbox 360 version of Mortal Kombat.

PopCap Games started a new "edgier" label called 4th & Battery only to have their first game rejected by Apple for being too edgy. Whoops!

There is going to be a fitness game where you train with UFC fighters. Expect lots of shirts with wings on them.

There is going to be a Mass Effect Anime.

Looks like there is going to be DLC for Super Street Fighter IV that updates it to the current arcade version in Japan.

It looks like this is the next CODBLOPS Map Pack.

There is going to be a new Sonic the Hedgehog game.

SSX Deadly Decent is now just called SSX.

MTV has created 345 Games to make games based on Spike TV and Comedy Central properties. You know what this means? Spike TV Video Game Awards: The Game!

This Fall we're getting a downloadable NBA Jam game called NBA Jam: On Fire Edition. They have also cancelled NBA Elite '12 making it the second year in a row without an NBA Elite game.

Honest Hearts is the next DLC for Fallout New Vegas.

I'm kinda sad The Agency has FINALLY been canceled, I had high hopes for it from the moment I saw it back in 07, but I kinda figured it'd be either vaporware or canceled eventually :(

I hope that if there's a new burnout it dosen't suck as much as Paradise did.

Splinter Cell trilogy for ps3 sounds awesome. Fingers crossed that they update the games' control schemes and don't simply doll up the graphics.
