1. Nothing is confirmed yet.
2. SP is booked to play Virgin Fest that weekend.
3. Pearl Jam is headlining Sunday and Billy might have refused to play if not headlining.
4. If SP were dedicated to their home town, the first show back wouldn't have been in Europe, it would have been in Chicago.

On a good note though, Lollapalooza HASN'T held a press conference to tell everyone that SP aren't playing. They held one last year because of all the rumors.

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see them play but just understand that it's not a done deal and you can't just assume they're going to.

Either way, good for Pearl Jam. There really aren't many headliners that haven't already played Coachella or Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo left. Hooray for something new!
