Rejected Artwork For Relient K's New Album

The Creature Speaks is offering readers a look at a few rejected pieces of artwork for Relient K's latest release, Five Score and Seven Years Ago. The album is available in stores now via Capitol Records.

I wish the original 'album art' (the one with the sticks and leaves) would have been it. It was a cool, simple cover.

yeah i don't particularly like the first one, but the 2nd and 3rd are both way better than what they ended up using

These covers suck hard. The current cover isn't that great either, but it's simple and clever. I was surprised they went with a picture maybe they are trying to go back to their roots like the covers of The Self Titled release and Anatomy of ....who knows, the art work is typically always better than a band photo.

1) The cover they have now is a lot better than those.

I agree, sort of. They're really neat designs, but they don't fit the mood of the album.
