Some pretty good picks there. I think Paper Walls should've been #1, being the best out of all those

Is "The Artist In The Ambulance" pop punk? That really threw me off when I saw that.

I've always considered it post-hardcore or melodic hardcore. I can't think of a single poppy song on the album.

Yay for Paper Walls! Great album. All of the choices were great actually. I was definitely intrigued to see Sticks and Stones at #1, but its a good album.

I don't know what else to call The Artist In The Ambulance haha. I guess I could have put something else in its spot.

The album is extremely accessible...?

yeah i dont consider it pop-punk at all. post hardcore is what i would classify it as, when it first came out i lumped it into the same category as thursday

whatever its still a solid list

Overall, this list doesn't surprise me coming from Thomas. Haha. And that's not a slight by any means (granted, my list would be very different from his)...

I'm not sure how Thrice would land on a list like this, though. That's the only entrant that really confuses me here. Maybe I'll throw together a list of my own...

I'm definitely with you as far as not knowing what to call that album, haha. But as my previous comment stated (I need to edit it now...) I'm not so sure that I'd call it pop-punk. Shrug.

But I guess that's why it's your list! Hah! How did you go about selecting these? Was it purely based on personal taste or did you let other things bleed in?

I mean if you're gonna have a band on there twice I definitely would've put Deja Entendu over Take Off Your Pants and Jacket or Paper Walls (or even Ocean Avenue honestly, Paper Walls is my favorite YC album) but that's just me.
