Having just been announced as playing the Green Man Festival, we can now add news that Vashti Bunyan will also be playing at this year's Connect Music Festival, performing on Saturday September 1st. Connect is Scotland's new three day boutique event, held in the stunning grounds of Inveraray Castle, situated on the banks of one of Scotlands most beautiful lochs, Loch Fyne, Argyll, and taking place over the bank holiday weekend of 31st August, 1st x%x% 2nd September 2007. There will be a campsite available for all those who wish to set up camp for the weekend. Also confirmed on the bill so far are The Beastie Boys, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Jarvis, The Go! Team, CSS, Nouvelle Vague, King Creosote, James Yorkston, Primal Scream, Mogwai, The Divine Comedy, The Only Ones, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Idlewild, and Big Star, with more TBC.
