Australian Music Round-UpNews

Two of the more interesting bands emerging in the Australian scene will hit the road together for 3 shows. Don’t miss Ghoul and Collarbones as they co-headline Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide shows.

Late to the party, but The Getaway Plan are currently in Canada recording their new album, Requiem. They expect it to see a September release.

The Panda Band return from touring the US to bring us their new album, Charisma Weapon as well as several WA shows and a few interstate.

Check out The Amity Affliction’s new video for “I Hate Hartley” here.

A deal with Sumerian Records will see This Is The Warning, debut album from Aussie rock band Dead Letter Circus, released in North America this July.

Like Awaken I Am’s facebook page to finally hear the first single from their much awaited EP, Resonance.

Pnau are planning to release their fourth album this July, entitled Soft Universe.

Keep your eyes peeled, Coerce will be streaming their new album this week and opening up for pre-orders.

Adelaide’s Dangerous! have signed to Epitaph, are playing Download Festival and have an album coming out in September. Not too shabby. Check out a track here.

I Exist have unleashed a new track from their upcoming album, II: The Broken Passage, to be released June 17th. The track can be heard in the new studio video here.

The Nation Blue are turning 15, and heading out on tour to celebrate.

Regurgitator will be touring extensively this August.

Soundwave look like one of the best festivals going. The only band missing off the bill is Blink-182. Wish I could make it.

I think you'll find that was the Parklife venue, not SWR.

I'd like for people to take some interest in reviewing some Aussie stuff, we're always very scarce in the reviews section.

Props to The Amity Affliction drummer for not having any tattoos.

Seems every talking head in this scene is covered in them nowadays.

However this band is head and shoulders above their peers, one of the few bands I like in the sing/scream genre

Not that I've ever wanted to go to one so far. But wonder if Parklife will ever not clash with NRL grand final in Sydney?

SWR. Soooooo good. $154 is pretty decent price hopefully not another 20 in booking or gst

Hope it's not Western Creek raceway. Olympic park went that smoothly this year.
Do you think Soundwave normal will have a line up announced by august like usual???

I'm liking the new Amity video even though its pretty simple, I've always liked Joel Birch's artistic sense.
