i know a lot of people who love NRNR but do not care for their other stuff, personally I love that they continually challenge themselves as musicians and attempt to grow in various ways. NRNR is obnoxiously heavy and lacked the melodic elements that Go West featured, but they still managed to keep their unique sound that differentiates them from the scene. They even said on their formspring that NRNR challeneged them, and they wanted to see if they could do a "heavy" record. As a fan I appreciate that they now have an absolutely heavy album in their discography. This new record will combine the last two GE albums and I am beyond excited. It will also enable me to like NRNR more, if that makes any sense. /endGEfanboyrant |
Making a record full of "chugga chugga" riffs and breakdowns isn't that challenging....
