I don't think he's ever straight up said it in that way. Maybe he has, but it's always been very vague and then whatever he has put out never quite matched up with what was said.

I like most everything he has done, but I don't think anything else has showcased his talents as much as The Goodnight Moon.

i cannot wait for new rookie. the goodnight moon is one of my all time favorite records and the fact that ryan said he will be returning to that sound is awesome.
