I hate when people use this as a defense of their music, the majority of people in bands are nice guys. Bands with bad music are gonna get hate, and it shouldn't matter how nice they are, because that has nothing to do with the music they make.

Usually yeah, sometimes shitty people make good music and people still like it but dislike the individuals. And its even easier to hate shitty bands that are shitty people, but the two shouldn't really be connected.
