haha yeah i didn't get the music confused as much as I did the names... then I heard one TDS song and saw the 95% review of their first album on this site and I'm like.... oh shit wait they're two different bands!

Also odd that they have so many derivative song titles, "about a girl", "thick as thieves, "mona lisa" , etc. They just seem to be devoid of any creativity. I think the new TDS album, The Graduate's last album, and bands like Fireworks, TWY, Valencia etc. are examples of the quality pop music you alluded to, not teeny bopper music like TSS.

I'm glad they've improved so much, instead of turning to shit like a lot of pop bands do.

i find myself agreeing with this. the summer set will probably never be as bad as the ready set, though

No, Blake's doing the review, but the record is absolutely fantastic.

The Dangerous Summer? They have an old EP called There's No Such Thing As Science and one more EP called If You Could Only Keep Me Alive (it's the songs from Science with some others), and then their full length - Reach For The Sun and soon to be War Paint

Yup, those two, are they any good? I've been meaning to check them out. I think I'm just going to buy TDS's entire discography thus far when war paint comes out. I should have a couple pay checks in by then.
