hey, kind of an off question, but what kinds of scales do you use, if any, to write your solos, or whatever you call em, thanks!
I only know a few scales but I know a ton of chords that follow scales. I use a lot of diminished but if I were to give yo a lesson most of it is not diatonic it's just whatever sounds good. I think knowing too many scales makes you second guess yourself. Some would disagree but that's just how I roll.
It just sounded cool and startes with an S. think about all the badass bands that start with S.
Makes sense. Do you think Suicide Silence will ever make a sound or even a record that would "surprise" it's audience? A lot of bands make a "mature, progressing" record at some point in their career. You guys have gathered quite a following for doing what you do and doing it well... Is there anything to push you to ever want to take a song or album a "different direction"?
Hey Mark, What was it like working with Jonathan Davis from KoRn? I've been a huge fan of them for years, and I would have never have even liked metal if it wasn't for them haha. Are you guys fans of theirs?
