into oblivion is such a great way to start out this album

I've been a fan of FFAF since I saw the video for Juneau years ago and I have to say I'm unsure if this release will stick to me like past releases. I've listened to about four songs and they certainly aren't bad - they just aren't FFAF. It sounds like Matt Davies singing for an alternative rock band.

I must point out something to all of the bands who are ditching their genre labels for a more simpler "rock" (ex: Roses Are Red, Classic Case, etc.) . ROCK IS BORING! The words "post hardcore' and "emo" are not bad words! It seems like more and bands are doing this thus releasing albums that are not bad but are not as creative and endearing as the albums that garnered them attention in the first place.

3 songs in... i am not digging this at all.

This album has such a mellow feel... On one hand i miss the screamo aspect of their songs, but on the other hand how can you pass up showcasing such a brilliant voice on every song....? Its going to take me awhile to decide on this one....

I have never been so disapointed with an album. What happened to their sound and their driving tempo? All the critics will call this a more mature sound but I think they have gone backward since Hours and especially since Casually Dressed.

i've heard a couple songs the other night and i liked them. deffinetly more mellow but i did like the new stuff. i pre-ordered the album which probably means i'll be getting it in the next couple days.

its not bad....just not what i wanted

I might be in the small minority but, while I found moments on Casually that I liked, the whole thing seemed very under-developed and typical to me. I loved how they showcased more melody on Hours ("Arches" was such a great song). Haven't heard this yet. I'm assuming it leaked on p2p if they put it up for stream though...

I'll admit that "Raise the Sail" and "Open Water" are pretty sweet songs at least....the rest not so much

this band sucks.

Cracking album, I was scared they'd try to 'grow' and 'develop' like other bands who end up sounding 'shit', but I think the songs are great, cant wait to go out and buy it!
