Attila will release Outlawed on August 16 via Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie. Listen to a song from it, "Payback," in the replies, where you can also see the artwork.
I've never understood the appeal of these guys or how they stand out compared to local no names. I remember when everyone around here was getting into them and always worshiped why I couldn't "dig them".
I'm a firm believer that these guys released their first three albums as music they want to hear, but only Rage took off and got them as much fame as you can expect in that genre. Now they're back with a new record produced by Joey Sturgis and extreme egos, so the music is going to suffer greatly.
If you don't take them so seriously, they're quite enjoyable. Pretty songs to mosh out at parties.
Basically. Gonna get shit for this, but I enjoy them greatly when I'm down to party. That tour still blows, but Attila is a fun listen, and The Ghost Inside is far and away the best band on this "All stars" tour.
Album cover is dumb, but I like them. Like other people posting on this are saying, they're a fun band and enjoyable if you don't take them seriously. Hell, I even preordered this.
