Glad he is doing something he loves and is overall doing well. It's also nice to know he is still on good enough terms with Travis to help him with Ghost Thrower. However, I am still bummed out that TIA is no more. I loved their overall sound and energy. I thought they were just skimming the surface of their potential as a band. Oh well such is life sometimes. At least this new project and Ghost Thrower are both pretty good.
Great interview, Alex. Everyone from TIA that I've met has been awesome, so I feel bad putting this out there, but I can't help but be curious - why did they break up? I don't know if this was covered somewhere and I missed it, but it was SUPER sudden, and it bummed me out. Not trying to dredg up any bad memories or hard feelings, though. Their live show was really inspiring, and I'm looking forward to seeing these guys and GT live.
One of my favorite bands, great dudes, and happy to call them my friends. Can't wait for their new EP/LP/Vinyl. They are great live, and I suggest you come down to a show if they play near you!
Here's a video I took of them last month.
