I like the idea. I wasn't into music nearly as much then as I am now. It would be cool to find something I may have missed and get a new perspective on these albums. A review written this long after it comes out would likely differ from one written back then. It's cool to reflect on it and see if it truly had staying power.
I love digging into albums that I may have missed (lately, I've been listening to the second Koufax album, Social Life - had no idea that Vagrant/H+V put that out...thank you Spotify). But who hasn't heard these two? I support this feature, but only if you dig a little deeper.
The only discussion that I can foresee is someone going "Bleed American is the best album" and then someone else saying "no, Bleed American sucks. Clarity is the best"... etc.
I almost wish that - specifically for these types of reviews - you didn't have to assign a rating number because it almost seems ridiculous to rate a canonized album.
