I like the idea. I wasn't into music nearly as much then as I am now. It would be cool to find something I may have missed and get a new perspective on these albums. A review written this long after it comes out would likely differ from one written back then. It's cool to reflect on it and see if it truly had staying power.

I love digging into albums that I may have missed (lately, I've been listening to the second Koufax album, Social Life - had no idea that Vagrant/H+V put that out...thank you Spotify). But who hasn't heard these two? I support this feature, but only if you dig a little deeper.
The only discussion that I can foresee is someone going "Bleed American is the best album" and then someone else saying "no, Bleed American sucks. Clarity is the best"... etc.
I almost wish that - specifically for these types of reviews - you didn't have to assign a rating number because it almost seems ridiculous to rate a canonized album.

I guess I just don't get these. What's the point of reviewing 'classic' albums just to call them classic?
Not ripping on your reviews here or in the past with Springsteen. I just don't understand the idea in general.

I think these would be better choices...
The Juliana Theory
Basicially anything on the first three Take Action comps. Everyone has heard these two albums. They were all over MTV and shit. I agree with what was said above - dig a little deeper.

Someone should review Knapsack - they're so underrated.

Interesting idea, would love to see some 90's alt reviews.

Loving this, considering I was heavily into this music 10 years ago. I might rediscover old favorites this way. Thanks!

I love feeling nostalgic, I back this idea.
Edit: Do No Signal by Park, so under-rated.

Great idea! I believe it'll please both the nostalgic and everyone else that wants to hear something they might've missed out.

What'd those animals say to ya?
I will see them live next month, so "Bleed America" seems to be a good record to finally get into their discography, I guess.

A man, a plan, a canal, Panama.
Looked at this after JEW gave a shout out on FB. Liked the review, scored a little high for me but definitely an influential album and one of JEW's best.
