Ten years ago I was 11. I have no intention of bragging about my music taste. But a year later I bought an album that entirely altered my taste in music. Sorry it's not surprising, but it's the obvious Tell All Your Friends album. Everything fell into place from there...

Highlights since that album definitely include Fall Out Boy's Take This to Your Grave, Something Corporate's North, anything from the early years of NFG, Story of the Year's Page Avenue, Thursday's first two albums, Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue, and Sugarcult's Palm Trees and Power Lines.

Something Corporate was the first band I fell in love with, their whole discography, Andrew McMahon was (and still is) a huge inspiration and role model. I still listen to Leaving Trough the Window from time to time.

I'll have to admit that SoCo was the SECOND band that I fell in love with haha but I agree, there is not a song that he writes in which I don't find something to love.
