One of the best concerts I've ever been to is Explosions in the Sky at Central Park. Not only were they on point musically, but the whole setting was so epic. As they were playin, the sun was settin over Central Park and it had just rained so like the clouds were all orange and stuff. And there were planes flying over. It was too cool. Definitely see them live.

Awesome performance, but here's a question: why does the sound on late night show television performances always blow?

So so so good. Been a fan since The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place. Seeing them for the first time on Sunday at Lolla. The sun will be setting while they play with the city in the background. I can't think of anything better than that.

Going to see them this november. I think I'm gonna cry.

Sounds amazing!

I saw them performing in an amphitheater in the middle of a forest in Belgium. It was such a fairy tale environment and people sitting on little pillows around the stage. Always a pleasure to see them, especially in special places like that.

I became a fan after that album, too. Still one of my favorites of all time.
