Kickoffs will be a joke this year

I wonder what the reasoning is behind the change. I don't see how it enhances the game. Less injuries on returns?

Yeah, the kickoff is really one of the most dangerous things. Getting rid of the wedge was a step that way, and there are a few other things they could tweak, but moving the kickoff line just basically takes a big chunk of it out of the game

It makes sense from the injury standpoint, but it definitely takes most of the excitement out of kickoffs.

Brady Quinn looked like the best QB out there for the Broncos
doesn't help that Orton literally played for 2 minutes though

...against guys who won't be in the NFL in 3 weeks. Orton looked good enough on that first drive. Broncos fans have to be happy that they kept him.

is anyone else watching the Chiefs/Bucs game?
if so, lol

Yes. I don't put any weight into it. I think KC will be a good young team. That said, I'm happy with how the Bucs looked, with no McCoy, Talib or Winslow. so happy football is here

yeah, but i was referring to a specific play, Tampa was punting it to KC and the ball landed in the end zone for a touchback, one of the Tampa players comes running down the field and just annihilated the return man who was at like the 5 yard line as he's fair catching and the ball landed in the endzone like 2 seconds later

the announcers were just ripping the kid lol

Hah, yeah. That guy (Holland) is just a camp body anyway. He has 0% chance of making the team.

if there's a month to month option, might cop.

I doubt it, but I wish it was so.

It would be great if they made a pay-per-view style option where you could pick individual games, but then I'm sure they'd lose alot of the package customers, so they never would. Dreamworld.

What did he fucking say in the article that is so bad?...

Basically he blamed everything on his environment and growing up poor. Then said about his dogs: "I miss my companions." Poor guy.

While you cant blame everything on the environment you grow up in, nature plays a huge role in the type of person you become.

I agree with your statement, but I think it's a weak excuse for Vick to use. The article makes it seem like he's portraying himself as the victim.

Speaking of growing up in adverse environments, here's a good article on Buc's rookie Adrian Clayborn.

ok moving past this now...

so, looking over some numbers today...how the FUCK is Joe Namath in the Hall of Fame?

50% completion percentage, nearly 50 more INT than TD, mid 60s QB rating? reallllly?

Are we really going to post people's names/numbers/addresses/family members all on here? For what? Why not just ban nightmare, then we can get back to football
