Watched the pilot, overall I liked it however I read that Coach won't be returning so I'm very skeptical about watching the next episode only because he was easily the best part of the pilot.

The only reason I'd watch it is because of Zooey. Could be a flop, but it's worth a shot.

His character was easily the most over-the-top, out of place, and unbelievable. Either tone the character down, or take him out completely. Leaving him in is only going to get annoying.

Just watched the pilot for the second time. I actually got a little amusement from Coach on this go-round whereas on the first watch I didn't laugh at a single thing he did. I think he could have been a character that would have grown into something more tolerable down the stretch. Definitely the weakest main character in the pilot though.

The only info I got was from wikipedia. It sounded pretty solid, though.

They could probably still have him do some of the same things the coach was going to do. Especially since it mentioned the new guy is a basketball player.

Just watched the pilot. It was alright but nothing special. Think zooey's charm will only do so much to keep it alive.

Eh, I thought he was the only really good one. I would say Schmidt is the most over-the-top and the most annoying of the four. Nick and Cece were written well, I would honestly prefer another actress playing Zooey Deschemell's personality, I dislike her half of the time. Coach isn't gonna be on the rest of the series though.
