Virtually all of the candidates' religious views scare me. Romney's however, are not mainstream enough to attract the wingnuts. Given the crap that makes up the horrible GOP pool of the next election -- Romney should not be President -- but he's the only one I am not trembling at. He'll probably end up being Bush 3 when it comes to policy.

Okay, I'm a republican, so I can be biased.

I'm going to vote against anyone who tries to legalize partial-birth abortion (yknow, killing a baby as it's given birth to). Just because it didn't pass doesn't mean Obama didn't want it to happen.

Obamacare is stupid. If it doesn't work in Canada, why would it work here? Being on a 10 month waitlist to give birth to a baby? hah. I'm going into the medical field and it is so unrealistic. Doctors and medical practitioners DESERVE to be paid well. They are fucking saving your lives! If every doctor is treated and paid the same way by everyone, the urgency for them to do their best work may not be as high.

Oh, and in his healthcare bill, Obama snuck in (or tried to sneak in) funding to pay for abortions in other countries. How the fuck is that any of the United States' business? Spending money to get rid of debt isn't very logical to me, but I am just some uneducated 18 year old.

You're right, Obamacare doesn't work in Canada...because ObamaCare and Canada's health care system are completely different. Canada's health care system is more comparable to England's NHS. ObamaCare also doesn't do anything in terms of the doctors getting paid. In fact, it'll ensure they're getting paid if anything. ObamaCare basically forces 1. More money to go to health insurance companies, and 2. For those companies to pay out more of that money. I'm not a huge fan of the mandate, but unfortunately that's what we got since the idea of a public option (Ie Australia, where health care is cheaper) was shouted down as socialist.

Also, you don't get wait listed if you go into labor while pregnant, you idiot.

lolwut? Even if any of this were true...Obama had no hand in writing the bill (which, as many of his supporters will tell you, is part of the problem)

I'm not saying this is the way I think or this is how I think medical professionals should be like. I'm being realistic. Many doctors are greedy and ignorant today and got in the field for social status and good money. I've witnessed it many times and that's partly why I'm going into the medical field. Because I've been fucked over by those doctors over and over again and want to be different. Very few give a damn anymore. Sad, but true.
