Who?

Good thing we have bands like The Rikters here lest we forget about how big the influence of The Strokes actually was. So how bad was First Impressions of Earth? Enough to warrant a mediocre EP that follows suite with lyrical claims to something along the lines of They Might Be Giants' throw-outs?

How Is It?

Just very mediocre. There are a few standout moments such as the chorus of "She Carries On" and the ridiculous vocal pacing of "You", but it's just a grating album. You'll find yourself coming back to it when you can't seem to find your copy of Is This It? or Lincoln, but don't expect too much of an attachment.

Key Tracks: "She Carries On", "Give Me The Wheel"
RIYL: At the Drive-In, The Strokes, Lincoln
