These college shows bring in a lot of dough. More than they'd make playing a shitty club.

EDIT: And now I see someone made a similar comment above. It my experience, bands that would make 1k or less playing a club show could make 5-10k playing your college. Make money!

Wow. Sparks got quite a bit of love after their debut, then they make an album that sounds similar to it with a few creepy/shitty lyrics and all of a sudden they suck. AP crowd is predictable.

I would love for these guys to play at my college haha. Doubt it would happen. Only band that's ever played there of any interest to me was Motion City in 09

I thought I liked the new album on first listen. Listened again and it just bored me. I wouldn't say I've turned on them, but their next album really needs to impress.

If they tried Junior Highs I bet they could book a shit ton of shows.

they opened at my school for Cartel before their latest release, and the crowd seemed to really enjoy them. and although I haven't heard their newest CD or seen them in a while, they've always put on a solid show and I'd definitely see them if they came back.
