I've never done anal because I'm relatively new to sex and I want to experience everything else before that, and since I'm so "new", I would think resorting to back door sex isn't really necessary. But my one ex just loved to "surprise" me with the shocker, like I couldn't read him like a book. I didn't find it pleasurable at all.

But someone mentioned using lube...I went to a sex toy party a few months back, and they said that's a must. You could do some serious damage to the lady by going too fast or forcing it.

well, we were having sex and he suggested we change positions and asked if we could do anal so i said yes and we went right for it. preparation seems like the good route, though, and wish i'd done it beforehand. during it, i wasn't really sure what to do/what to expect, and the feeling was pretty strange and uncomfortable (it was also during the middle of the day and in front of my open windows that look onto harvard dorms, so paranoia about people seeing us probably didn't help either). i think you're right about it being a gradual process, though, so it should feel better in the future. what did you do to prepare?

Well I started with small things. Wasn't able to buy toys, but I had lots of sharpie markers, so I started with one there, slowly put it in at just let it sit there for a while, then work my way into moving it in and out. Became kind of like a routine every time I masturbated until I felt really comfortable with it and didn't have to put it in/move it slowly anymore. Then I moved on to two sharpies, then those jumbo sharpies and did the same process. To be honest it's probably better if you get the toys that are meant to go in that area like anal beads or butt plugs, but if you don't have access to those things, just use sharpies and other friendly shaped items. If you don't have lube, use your wetness or spit, but obviously don't double dip, haha.

I shocked some people with what I'm about to say. I posted it in a different thread, but this one is probably more appropriate:

My genitals haven't worked since I was around 20-21. I didn't even masturbate all that much. About average. 3 times a week, maybe 4 at most. I kept telling myself that this was just because I was high and it would go away, but it never did. What did go away, however, was the sensitivity in my genitals. Gradually, they just decreased in sensitivity until my dick didn't feel all that different from, say, my thumb. This is how it felt by 2007. I don't know if this was my body's chemical reaction to the weed, if it was from jerking off, if it's from taking anti-psychotics, or what. I'm 27 and I've never had sex, and now I'm finally comfortable with my sexuality and I can't even physically express it. Owned.

last part is very true, i've seen a few girls come into the ED with extreme bleeding. They try and cover it up as like hemorrhoids or something. We usually have to get consults in because we can't tell if it's a rape situation or not.

That's truly terrifying. The lady who did the sex toy party said anal beads are a good place to start because they gradually get bigger. Anal sex definitely isn't a spur of the moment decision if it's never been done before...or at least it shouldn't be. Severe internal damage isn't worth a few minutes of pleasure. Girls really get the short end of the stick.
