Only a few new bands that interested me this time. Really liked Trap Them, and A Winged Victory for the Sullen sounded good too. Meaning to check out We Sink and Punch for a while now.

I would greatly recommend Caravels.

I've had a habit of speed-reading the Absolute 100 in previous years and just trying out the bands that sound most appealing by their RIYL section. This year I'm branching out and aiming to try every song on here and bookmarking the ones that stand out.

Aficionado are already a fantastic find and I'm looking forward to ordering their album. Can't wait to work through the rest of the list.

f.y.i bayonet have not released a full length. they recently released a debut ep. however i did read an interview with buddy over on a propertyofzack blog that they would be recording a full length some time next year.
