not sure what everyone was expecting when they said a while ago that they were going to make an "alternative rock" album. songs are sounding pretty good in my opinion, it's four year strong and if you've enjoyed their previous albums i don't see how you can completely dislike what has been leaked so far. although i will miss Josh's services in the future i believe this album will still shred.

Big difference between modern radio rock and "rock" music in general. This song sounds very boring. Nowhere did I mention breakdowns and FYS was one of the only bands in the genre that I could listen to because the kept way from stuff like that.

I think the rock stuff is something they needed. They couldn't write another album with 12 songs in D, sorry to break it to you people (p.s. i love ROTD, wasnt bashing it, but come on people).

at least the new songs released so far sound way better than the new set your goals album that was released. i'm stoked for the new album!

I would like to know what the haters think is missing BESIDES the breakdowns and the screams? I mean no one has really said anything other than it sounds like radio rock. What is it supposed to sound like? What is the obvious logical progression? People just like to beat bands to death every record, especially when they lose a member and take on new ideas. You can almost predict that before anyone hears a note. Its surprising a lot of fans didn't bail on them when they were no longer indie. Its not exactly Foster The People is it?

There was a post earlier today that you could hear this song in its entirety. I really dig it. You can only write the same breakdown so many times. I like the direction they are going.
