Less Than Jake Plan to Release EP On Vinyl

Posted by - 09:57 AM on 09/13/11
I recently did an interview with Less Than Jake's Buddy Schaub for Limited Pressing. In the interview, which you can read here, Buddy announces that the band will press Greetings From Less Than Jake on vinyl and are planning to work on a new EP.
From the InterviewI believe the plan is to put this out on vinyl in the very near future as well as get back to the drawing board and start working on another EP.

Great interview. Didn't realize they weren't planning on ever doing another full-length. I guess as long as we get a relatively steady stream of EPs (especially if they're as awesome as Greetings) then I can live with that.

That sucks there will be no more full lengths. This better mean we get ep's of similar quality as 'greetings' on a regular basis.

You could read the interview, you know.

Quote:
I don’t know if we want to paint ourselves into a corner and say we’ll never do something again, but these days an EP is plenty for people to digest. It trims the fat so to speak. Putting out 5 quality songs is better than 10 mediocre songs. And with our schedules and Roger’s studio, going in to bust out 5 songs at a time keeps the frequency of music into the fan’s hands at a peak.

Definitely picking up the vinyl! Ep is so good.

Can't wait for new tunes although it seems like for some reason people are starting to forget about this band Making me sad!

Great interview! I love every LTJ interview I read actually. When it comes to them talking about this label stuff, it immediately gets me really interested. Anything they release is always awesome to me.

Definitely picking up the vinyl! Ep is so good.
