- corny writing (this would be my #1 flaw) since the first episode this has been the first thing i noticed. Corny. |
False.

- most of the characters are pretty cookie-cutter OR they only show slight deviations of being interesting on certain episodes. for instance, Jessica Brody's character was an intersting character for the first few episodes, (as this wife who has moved on from brody but cant tell him the truth) but over the final 9 episodes, she became unused and pretty borring. I thought the show had different plans for a character like her. Since she admitted to sleeping with his friend, she's been thrown away. I would've liked to see her true emotions come out about brody's friend. (this is just an example)
There's only been one season.

- a few small instances of plot holes (and/or simply plot point that havent been developed yet). For example, in episode 5?, Estes tells a guy to follow Carrie as an assignment. This never gets followed up?
I'm Ron Burgundy?

- plot seems to all over the place. It's fun having multiple characters and multiple point of views, and when it comes to season 2 i have no fucking idea what's going to happen next (which is why i like the show), BUT I'm just not neccesarily sure what the general focus is of the show. If brody sets the bomb off to kill the vp...is that the show? was that the big plan?
...what?
Quote:
- sub-par acting and a few bad casting decisions.
Beyond false.

i'm NOT trying to be an asshole, i DID watch the entire first season and i plan on watching the second season...but that's not to say that i dont recognize the shows flaws. I dont think any of these flaws are completely overbearing either...they're just tiny things i've noticed while watching the show.
For the second time today: this show is not for you.
It's fine for you to keep watching. No one is telling you not to do that. Just don't complain about it anymore, especially when you admit to not knowing what's happening.
