Yeah I recently rented Borderlands after hearing my friends get excited about number 2, only just started playing in co-op mode with my housemate though. Feels like I haven't scratched the surface/even began to learn the depth of the game after about 4 hours gameplay, which isn't a complaint.

Yeah really enjoying it so far, loving how many weapons there are already, but feel like there's MANY more to come.

Borderlands will easily set you up for a few months if you stick with it. Lots of shit to do. The only thing that irritated me to no end was the menu system.

the menu system was pretty annoying when playing the game in split screen. but single player online its not bad. Hopefully the make some sort of adjustment with the new one.

Yeah split screen menu is so frustrating, having to move it around to see the whole thing etc.

it would be nice to have the option to do a horizontal split screen versus just vertical too.

Not sure if this has been posted yet... but these 2 games are some of the scariest games I've ever played, and they are both free.

It's amazing how indie developers can make a super simplistic game, load it with atmosphere and create some of the scariest gaming I've come across yet. Maybe the big survival horror devs will take notice.

Played CoD4 for the first time last night with a couple friends. I can't believe I never tried it out before, I was always quite anti fps games but this was so much fun. I think I did alright as a first timer, managed to get some good hits and piss off my friend which is always a good sign..must have done something right!

A co-worker of mine bought me a really cheap pre-owned Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition yesterday. In return I bought him a used copy of Prey. I like to think we both won. I never played either of the Dragon Age games, but loved the first KOTOR on the original xbox so I'm looking forward to playing it.

You probably will be into it, then. I'm near the end of the sequel and I don't like it as much as other Bioware series so far, but it is good fun, and pretty similar to Kotor in particular.

i don't know much about it other than that it will be in 3. i'm a little hesitant to praising the idea considering the fact that having a co-op partner will definitely affect the atmosphere to some extent. on the flip side, i'm assuming the action sequences will be pretty sick then.
