I hated the EP, thought I'd love it since I'm a huge fan and I normally like this kind of music. These clips do nothing for me, I feel like he's trying too hard and the production seems too busy. Like he needs to take a couple of instruments out.

Yeah, and I have it and listen to that song pretty often. His EP didn't interest me either. I guess I just associate his voice with rock music more than soul music or whatever genre he's going after here.

I really like the sound of those clips. This album is going to be so awesome.

Would've preferred less synths/club music and more funk/organic instrumentation.

But it does sound good. I'll be giving it a shot for sure.

I was so excited for his solo release when I first heard it was coming out. This and the EP have basically killed that excitement.

Exactly. Was so pumped for this when it first came out.

I'm not going to listen to these clips, but I really like the EP and will be pumped to get this. I wish it was a little more "organic" in its nature, or even a little more hastily thrown together and lo-fi (like AFI side project Hunter's Revenge), but Patrick has always been interested in glossy production so I'm not terribly surprised with the route this project has taken. I'll buy this first day.

Sounds much better than his EP. These songs have a much more funky/soul feel to them. I was expecting to hate this, but it sounds good.
