haha I've been to many Taking Back Sunday AND Switchfoot shows and there is absolutely no contest. A TBS show is fun, but Switchfoot blows them out of the water.

They change their songs up, get involved with the crowd (Jon literally walks deep into the crowd), and are ALWAYS spot on. Switchfoot does a great job of creating an atmosphere for their show, as opposed to just trying to get everyone hyped up and rockin (or whatever kids call it these days!) Adam just walks around twirling the mic for the most part. Fun, but not the same.

p.s. the ending of The Sound is AWESOME.

Still an outstanding band.

Definitely think Switchfoot's stage presence is incomparably better than TBS's but the Taking Back Sunday fans are so much more fun to jump around with. From my experience, switchfoot fans are always so cautious to get too physical which makes their shows kinda meh sometimes. TBS fans have no problem dropping their personal bubble and jumping around when they get pumped. I love it.

That being said. Awesome perfomance. I love seeing drew get more into it and stuff. When both guitars were going together after the bridge in Dark Horses I got goosebumps. Need to see them live again. C'monnnn Norva.
