I don't think he is really straying that far from his older stuff. Lyrics are about different subject matter but still as profound. Guitar and piano are still their. This album just does not seem too different than some of the stuff on Glass Passenger with a bit of Everything In Transit's melodies.
Just curious what you don't like? Coming from someone who loves everything else he released, I love the new songs and don't see what is not to like?
