It's because of online communities like Absolutepunk. I swear, if I didn't know how much I was robbing my favorite artists of through fan based forums and news articles brought to my attention... I'd still be, well, robbing my favorite artists.

It's funny that's how things are working. Lately, I've been bored with every fucking band sounding the same and enjoying some good hip hop music.

To all the kids who criticize hip hop. It's not all MIMS and Gangster this gangster that bullshit. In fact, a lot of times it's far better than rock lyrically.

It's cool that tours like Warped can have hip-hop artists come along and get a great response. I'm not sure if it helps with album sales at all, but I'm looking forward to seeing k-os this summer. I remember seeing D-12 and Kool Keith a while back too.

A) Not a kid....

B) While it may not all be "Mims" and whatever else they call themselves now.....Its still fairly repetitive just as a lot of rock music is today....Im not trying to say "Hey, rock music is the best ever and nothing is ever the same" but come on dude.....to say lyrically its better than rock in a lot of cases is a little out there (of course this is my opinion and you are entitled to yours and will respect that)

lol...no it's not, but it is about lip gloss poppin and poppin lockin and dropping and repeatedly saying the chorus over and over again. Damn it why couldn't I have thought of these things.
