Will watch later. I like Culprit a lot but Brand New is like a top 2 band for me and this is my favorite song by them. Hopefully it's good.

As for it being blasphemous for a band to attempt a unique take on a BN song, I hope we're far enough along in the band's career that that will stop being the prevailing attitude soon. i can see your point in some respects, but degausser is sort of a cult-classic. i wouldn't bunch all brand new songs into that category, but there definitely are a select few that should be handled with kid gloves.

3 is a decent number better than zero, one or two, or negative numbers...
as for the cover, i honestly wasn't a huge fan, but i'm a huge tonehead and that guitar tone in the video was too muddy, where the real song relies a lot on a clean thin tone...
i definitely wouldn't say it was bad musicially...they got their stuff together, but just wasn't all i hoped it would be

This was a decent cover, however, Degausser is definitely a song to be dealt with carefully.

Pretty bad

Was a bit skeptical since it's my favorite band and my favorite song by them, but they absolutely nailed it. Great band and glad to support them with the tour.
